Setup

The JDMINT Interface must be set up to be able to access B&P configuration information in JDMINT. Please perform the setup in the following order:

JDMINT Interface setup

First, the basic interface setup must be performed. Please proceed as follows:

  • Open the Interface List table in John Deere DBS 365 and select the JDMINT entry.
  • In the General FastTab, keep the Interface Log toggle switch deactivated.
  • In the Parameters FastTab, enter the following information in the Value field to prepare the interface:
    • DealerBranch: enter the dealer's John Deere branch code consisting of the first 2 digits of the Main Dealer No. value.
    • DealerNumber: enter the dealer's unique John Deere dealer ID, without branch code consisting of the last 4 digits of the Main Dealer No. value.
    • DealerUnit: enter the dealer's John Deere unit code consisting of the first 2 digits of the Main Dealer No. value.
    • ImageButton: specifies the default value used in the JDMINT web service URL. Do not change the default value!

    • PLVersion: specifies the default value used in the JDMINT web service URL.
    • URL: specifies the URL used for the JDMINT web service.

After successful setup, the following can be done with the JDMINT Interface:

After successful setup and with both the JDMINT Interface and B&P Integration activated, users can click on the Actions > Send to JDMINT button in the menu bar of the Purchase Order page to open the JDMINT website for further processing in their default browser.

For the action to work flawlessly, the following criteria must be met:

  • The Buy-From Vendor No. value must have the same manufacturer assigned as used in the General > John Deere Manufacturer Code field on the John Deere Setup page.
  • The Build & Price configuration ID must be available in the Lines FastTab of the purchase order, i.e., a B&P session must have been started and/or completed.
  • The General > Vendor Order No. value must be empty in the purchase order.
